4

Adjust Settings

Slippage: Choose your acceptable slippage (e.g., 3%, 5%, 9%).

The maximum price difference you're willing to tolerate between the expected and actual swap rate. Higher slippage helps ensure your trade goes through in volatile or low-liquidity conditions.

Network Fee Rate: Set your preferred network fee rate (Low / Medium / High).

Determines how fast your transaction gets confirmed on the Bitcoin blockchain. Higher fee rates result in faster confirmations, while lower rates may save fees but experience delays.

5

Click Swap & Confirm

Once you’re satisfied with the quote, click Swap to initiate the transaction.

A prompt from your wallet will appear for you to sign the transaction.

After signing, the transaction is broadcast to the Bitcoin network.

Notes & Tips

Liquidity Impact:

Low liquidity can cause high slippage. Consider splitting large trades if needed.

Network Fees

All swaps require Bitcoin network fees. Ensure you have enough BTC in your wallet.

Service Fees

The total swap fee is typically 2%, split in a 4:1 ratio — 1.6% goes to liquidity providers (LP Fee) and 0.4% to DotSwap (Service Fee).

This ratio is determined by the first liquidity provider when creating the pool and may vary by token pair. To request changes, please contact DotSwap support.

Security Reminder

Always check that the website domain is dotswap.app. Watch out for fake or phishing sites.

Verify Transaction

After the swap is completed, you can track it using mempool.space or other Bitcoin explorers.
